So this is yet another music blog, however the reason I have decided to start a new blog is because this one is dedicated to Live Music, more specifically for my reviews of Live music shows which I have visited and wish to share with the world.
For those of you that know me, you will already know that I go to far to many gigs. If you want to know an exact number, just think of a stupid number of gigs... and then probably double it! Why? Because I love them, there is no truer greater music experience than seeing a band perform live, for me it was how music is meant to be heard!
The fact that it is a once in a life time event, no matter how many times that song is performed it will never be sung the same as it was when you were there, the same goes for the guitar and drum solo's and the banter in between songs. The fact that there can be thousands of people in the same place all cheering for the same reason, chanting the same words in unison! But the moment I truly live for is that moment, when you are at a gig and everything stops, time stands still and for a brief moment there are no worries, no problems and just the music! Even the mere thought of it is sending shivers down my spine right this second!
So this blog will review and discuss recent and past gigs which I have been too, one so that I can discuss them and two so that I can hopefully remember them in years to come!
